This and That and Whatnot

Sometimes you just have to be random… and that is exactly what this post is all about.

Couple of things to mention…

I got new kicks…

They’re comfortable… but they’re kind of out of my comfort-zone. I don’t normally wear black shoes… they make my white legs, look… well white. BUT they fit great, comfortable, great price (Thank you Academy) and I just couldn’t bring myself to buy the same pair (different color, grey) for 40% more. I like a good deal. But one thing I do like about these shoes is they feel hardcore… so they make me want to be an athlete, and push myself to go harder. Win-win! ;)

Next… because I just don’t talk about it enough. This is yet another yesterday I love green tea…

Gotta love all the ingredients. ;)

And last, I needed to do something about the hot-mess my jewelry box was becoming… so I did this…

After hanging all the necklaces, my jewelry box had plenty of room to breath and have some method to the madness. And here all this time I thought I didn’t have many necklaces… well… scratch that. This lovely wall hook came from Target. For $13.99, you can have one too!

and I got some good responses…

all of which I’ve never tried. I’ve used Nike and Adidas.

Its about that time again that I start shopping for some new running shoes. The kicks are starting to get worn. Question is, do i buy before my half-marathon in October? Or wait till after? Hmm….

so it’s freezing rain here in H-Town… and I’m leaving it!! woo! Going to sunny weather, hubs and I are going on a cruise :) I’m crazy excited. never been on one before… any advice?

also, I finally got some new shoes this passed weekend… whatcha think??

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

I am just thrilled it’s finally the weekend, and an added bonus: It’s GORGEOUS outside!
Cheers to that!

Last night we got a ton of things accomplished regarding the Wedding planning. {SO EXCITED!}

We finally finished the registry at Macy’s, and can I just say, this by far was so much fun. Macy’s was great! Their customer service was perfect and everything was so easy to figure out what we needed. Love it!

Afterwards Rodney and I popped into Zales and {Woo Hoo!} We found Rodney’s wedding band. I’m so excited for him {ya know, and me too}, he loves the band and it looked so very handsome on him. :)

And last, but not least, MY SHOES CAME IN!!! Yes the beautiful green satin ballet shoes with the cute flower on top have arrived and they fit perfectly. I’m so beyond words excited. They’re lovely and exactly what I’ve been wanting. How on earth were those things hiding for so long? So glad I found them. :)

Oh! And another update, we’ve decided not to register at Lowes, why you ask? Because their registry system is way too complicated. You couldn’t register in the store, you had to do it online, which wasn’t easy at all, and then your guests who went there would have a hard time finding what was registered for…too much! too much I say! We want simplicity! So we checked into Home Depot.

It’s so much easier, you can register in the store and everything. They’ve won us over! :)

So there are completed tasks and whatnots for the day. Ah, love the feeling of accomplishment.
