Being the Greek Yogurt fan that I am, I was excited to get to do this review. Anytime I see a new greek yogurt in the store, I always want to try it. You never know if you’ll find a new flavor to love or one to loathe… before heading to the grocery store to pick up these babies, I checked out their website and found some good facts about Dannon Oikos…

  • Dannon® Oikos® Plain and Fruit on the Bottom contains 0% fat, while the Dannon® Oikos® traditional blended varieties contains about 3% fat. Both are an excellent source of protein, twice that of most regular lowfat yogurts.
  • Dannon® Oikos® 0% varieties contain active yogurt cultures and range from 80 calories (Plain) to 130 calories (Fruit on the Bottom) per 5.3 oz. cup.
Very good things that I like to find in my greek yogurts.

The first yogurt I tried was the Strawberry Fruit on the Bottom Greek Yogurt. I had it with my morning bowl of Puffins and a banana sliced in the mix. I was nervous ya’ll, I hadn’t tried this greek yogurt yet and I was adding into my precious puffins, hoping that it wouldn’t ruin them. Breakfast is in fact my favorite meal of the day.

At the very first bite, I was pleasantly surprised! This greek yogurt was good. Not too tart, not too sweet, just perfect. It reminded me of the strawberry froyo at Orange Leaf. Which made me think it’d be a fantastic idea to freeze one of these containers and have a little treat one day! I like the creamy consistency, love the sweetness, and I especially love how tasty it is with my puffins cereal. :)

I kinda totally loved it ya’ll. I’m so glad I loved it too! I can add this to the list of greek yogurts I adore now!

Before you head to your grocery store to find a cup for youself, check out Dannon Oikos Facebook Page, they are offering a coupon for a free cup on www.facebook.com/oikos. I’m glad that Dannon and Stonyfield are partnering up, they’re making one great Greek Yogurt product!

I have partnered with Dannon to help promote the Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt Series.  I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program, which includes writing about the promotion and product.  However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.

Zensah! Zensah! Zensah!

So half-marathon training has been going great, definitely a little chilly at times, but otherwise great. I’ve really enjoyed training for this race with my husband, it great quality time together.

On Saturday we went for a 5 mile run. It was chilly out in the AM, but I knew it would get warmer as we ran and the morning warmed up. So instead of layering up, I decided to wear my zensah arm sleeves.

The arm sleeves definitely kept my arms warm, especially my elbows. The other day we went for a run, it was chilly out and I wore a t-shirt and my elbows actually hurt. So the arm sleeves really helped on saturday.

from Zensah’s website: “The most comfortable arm sleeve you will ever wear. The Zensah arm sleeve is unique in that it is the only arm sleeve which uses a special knitting process creating an arm sleeve which is ergonomic. The Zensah arm sleeve is the only arm sleeve which is anti-bacterial and ALL WEATHER GEAR making it great for us indoors in basketball or outdoors while cycling.”

My one and only complaint with them {which is really my fault} is they slide down, but I think its my fault because I ordered an “L/XL” size. I thought that’s what I’d wear. I should have gotten a smaller size…. and in PINK! ;) So other than that, they’re great!

Annnnnd there’s only a few more months until the Rock ‘n Roll series half-marathon in Nashville! SUPER excited! :) Anyone else doing that one?
