All of you are absolutely wonderful people. Do you know that? Seriously, thank you so much for all the sweet words regarding the passing of my grandma. From all my heart. Thank you. We were suppose to be in Vegas right now at this very moment, but due to the current events, we had to cancel it. My husband who is awesome, got the whole trip refunded and already rebooked for a month from now. He’s so great. Got all of that taken care of so I didn’t have to stress over it right now. Now we can just reflect on what a nice long life my grandma lived and enjoy family around us.

So ya’ll know how I started a Garden and whatnot. And clearly I had no idea what I was doing, especially when I threw away the seed packets and totally forgot what I planted and where. Oh well. We’ll figure it out eventually. Well my mom came over one day and checked out the garden and pointed to a plant and proclaimed “You’ve got pumpkins! And Corn!” YEA! I remember planting those, among other things. So this afternoon I was out there pulling weeds again and growling at said weeds and how evil they are, how frustrating it is that a weed can come in and try to destroy something so good. I was frustrated. I pulled weed after weed and started to see the dirt again. But there is something therapeutic about getting rid of weeds, especially when you feel like your world has turned upside down. Even still, I hated that I had to go out there again and try and save my garden from those evil buggers. “Maybe I should just start over, rip it all up, drown the garden in weed killer and start again.”… “ugh I can’t do that. I can’t quit something I started. I just can’t.”…”Don’t worry garden, I’ll get these nasty guys outta here.” These were the thoughts running through my head. Thenn Hubs came outside and noticed something… “HEY! You grew something!“
Enough with the Rebecca Black song… Hubs sang it all day yesterday. Man that thing is catchy! Have you heard it? Check it out…
Silly right? Gotta love parents who will pay for anything their kid wants.
Ok so! I’ve been MIA the past couple of days. Life. Is. Crazy. Everything should settle down here soon… and I should be getting back to posting random things for your enjoyment!
For now, Zumba class is calling my name. I’m excited to get a good workout in, with this week being so nuts I have not worked out… hmm in a while! Maybe that’s why I’ve been feeling so blah/sad lately. Not enough endorphins… need… endorphins….. *insert mellow-dramatics*
Until then check this out…
We planted a garden this weekend. I hope something grows. I’m awful at growing plants… I have not been blessed with a green thumb. *fingers crossed*
Have you ever attempted to grow a garden? What worked for you?
Who’s saying what?
