Never Regret A Workout

Yesterday was our Wedding Anniversary.

My sweet husband never ceases to amaze me.

When I got home from Zumba class, I was surprised with a fun anniversary gift…

Gosh he knows me so well. Picked it out all by himself too. Good man. :)

But I had a little surprise up my sleeve too for him…

The Kindle!

Hubs has been wanting one and I’m pretty sure he’s addicted already… he might just walk into a wall while reading that thing. He’s glued to it. :)

We went that evening to dinner at the Hobbit Cafe. Remember that place with the girls?

Hubs hadn’t been, so we thought it’d be fun to venture out that way. It was of course, divine! Such good food. I got the wrap…

seriously ya’ll, the picture doesn’t do it justice! It’s HUGE! That’s a big plate, the wrap was bigger than my head! I got through about oh, up to the red onion right there and then took the rest home. So good, but too big.

Of course we found a froyo place afterward, called Swirll. I should have taken pictures, it was super cute inside. I got dark chocolate & fancy vanilla. I was feelin’ fancy, so why not. ;)

Great evening spent with the man I love!

Today, (actually in like an hour,) is bootcamp.

I don’t want to go. I’m going to go, but I don’t want too. It’s not that I don’t enjoy the class, I do. I’m crazy and like hardcore workouts. Its just one of those days where I just don’t wanna. I’ve got a vacation coming up and I think the lazy is wanting to set in. Well, lazy isn’t going to win. Mind over matter. I’m going to go and I know that I’ve never once regretted a workout. So boo-ya lazy!

What do you do when you don’t want to workout?

Today some very fun things happen….

  1. Today is my two year wedding anniversary.
  2. It’s presidents day {I know Heather is excited about that}
  3. No school, which means I get to go to ZUMBA this AM! Score!
  4. Tonight, Hubs and I have a super fun date planned.

Looking back on the past two years being married, each day, week, month has gotten even more fantastic than the day before. I can only imagine what celebrating 10 years, 20 years, 40 years, 50 years, will be like? Beautiful, I’m sure.

I love being Rod’s wife. I love who who we are as a couple. I love what we’ve accomplished together in only two short years, and I know that together we’re unstoppable. We’re a Team. :)

I’m off to go celebrate our Mr. & Mrs. day!

Cheers my friends, cheers!

Gnocchi, oh my!

Yesterday was our One Year Anniversary. :)

We went to a tasty Italian restaurant…

called Maggiano’s Little Italy. It was beyond delicious!

I got the Gnocchi. I’ve always seen it in the grocery store, but was too leery trying it so I never had Gnocchi before and I decided it’d be a good time to try it…

it was amazing! It was in a pesto sauce, had olives, sun-dried tomatoes, asparagus, and spinach. SUPER delicious. It was a huge plate, I barely did any damage to it, I took the rest home. Hubs got the baked ziti and his was the same way, amazingly good and amazingly huge, he took his home too. YEA for left-overs. :)

So now that I know I like Gnocchi, I’m going to buy it next time in the grocery store. I’m going to have to find a great recipe! Anyone have a good one? Ever try Gnocchi before?

Oh and also, my pink camera completely died… I mean DIED! It was so sad.. I had to borrow my sisters camera for our cruise. So I was completely thrilled when my awesome husband surprised me with this gem…

he knows my love for photography and that I was having with-drawls without a camera.

YEA! Say hello to Mr. Red. :)

Happy Anniversary to us!

one year ago today, I married my best friend.

I can’t even begin to explain how sweet life has been since we’ve gotten married. Life was good before we married, but now it’s so much better than good, it’s fantastic.

I’m so happy God out us together. He made Rodney for me, and I for him, we fit perfectly, (and to sound super sappy) we complete each other. :)

Rodney, I’m so glad you asked me to be your wife. I’m honored to walk through life with you. I love you! Happy Anniversary!
