Fleur De Lis.

 Something I’ve become obsessed with. I loved this symbol when I went to Paris one summer and ever since then, this sophisticated thing has always caught my eye.

I think I’m driving my Fiance’ a little crazy. We’ll be in a store and I see some decor with the Fleur De Lis and of course I’m all “Ooo’s, ahh’s and look!” But he’s a very sweet man and just goes “nice…” to please me.

I’ve been searching and finding ways to incorporate the Fleur De Lis into our Wedding. If you have any ideas, fill free to share.

I’m so excited to marry my best friend! I wish the day was already here, but for now I’m in the season of what I’ve been calling “Adventures in wedding planning.”

Who knew that within the first hours of getting engaged, the question on everyone’s mind is, “when’s the big day?” I keep asking myself that too… but there’s all these little details that go in to finding “the day”.

• What venue to use
• What month to have it, winter, spring, summer, fall… already too many choices
• What works best for everyone
• How soon is too soon and how far is too far
• and last but not least, when are these venues even available.

HOLY COW! So much to consider and so much to figure out… but…. its fun!

All week I’ve been calling around, looking up places, checking out references and even as crazy as it may be, its all fun. Fun in knowing that once the place is booked and the date is set, I’ll be one step closer to marrying my best friend, the love of my life, my sweet Rodney Giles.
