So last night I went to my first ever Pilates class, it was AWESOME! Seriously a hard workout, but worth every minute of it, my sore abs are screaming at me today!
I was actually really nervous to go to this class, random thoughts of “gosh, I can’t do that” filled my head and then the “What if I’m bad at it and everyone notices?” Do you ever have those thoughts? I decided not to let my fear of doing something new and different win over my desire to push myself to new a level and turn my “I can’t” into “I can.”… and let me tell you just how rewarding it was! I felt accomplished, empowered and overall confident about myself.
Talk about a great feeling. Have you ever pushed passed your fear or anxiousness of something and afterwards the results were so rewarding? Amazing feeling!
Just thought I’d share my little story.

So the fabulous Kristin at We are THAT family wants everyone to link up and share their Christmas Tree decor.
So I thought I’d share my decorating skills. Here is a picture of the Christmas Tree I decorated at my darling Fiance Rodney’s office at Eleven2.

Note: Ms. Palin wanted to be festive too… she got to wear the Santa hat

It’s super chilly outside. We’re in the 30’s! That’s so rare here in Houston, Texas.
But it definitely makes it feel more Christmas-y out.
Can you imagine if it was this cold on February 21st when Rodney and I get married? That would be nuts.
So for now, I leave you with some pretty Winter Wedding pictures:

So my cake card box I’ve been working on, it’s really coming together!! I’ve found the perfect ribbon that I’ve been hunting for for weeks. (Walmart…who’d have thought?)
I haven’t glued the boxes together yet and haven’t made the slit for the cards to get into the box, but the look is coming together. Take a look, tell me what you think!

The Wedding Invitations have been ordered! YEA!!! Little did I know, that most vendors suggest that you order the invitations 2-3 months before the wedding… I’m only 2 months and 16 days away, so we’re good right? Right. With a little screaming, kicking and begging, the vendor just gave me a nice little smile, and they should be here within 3-5 business days.
Cheers everybody! YEA!

My amazing Fiance Rodney has his own blog. Today he suprised me with a tid-bit about me. I LOVE HIM!! He’s so completely sweet in every way…
You’ll have to hop over to his blog (click here) and leave him some comments about how he’s such a sweet man and Lauren is so lucky to be marrying him and all that fun stuff. hehe!
That made my day.
