Hello Friends! How’s your Wednesday treating you? Mine, started off with Zumba! I woke up this morning bright and early to get ready and low and below its raining outside!! Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal at all, but ya’ll… it hasn’t rained here in over a month. Our plants are dying, our lawns are dying… we’re dying (from the heat). It’s a very welcomed rain storm.
Yesterday I taught three bootcamp classes and by the time I got home my knees were screaming at me. Hello squats and lunges! It felt like I had run 10 miles… so I did what any smart runner would do…
ice, ice, baby! Or in this case… frozen fruit, fruit, baby! Hey a girl’s gotta use what she’s got. That Pink Girl told me to use a bag of peas…. um… but I already ate the peas for dinner.
One of the exercise moves that we did was Dolphin Planks, ever heard of them? They go like this…
The movement is slow and controlled, with a pause at the plank position and then another pause at the “downward dog” position. We repeated this movement 20 times. We’re hardcore like that.
Do you do planks? What’s your favorite type?

I have never heard of dolphin planks but I will have to try them!
THREE bootcamp classes?? Girl, you are so hardcore! I have loved seeing your progression through reading your blog this last year!
I will try the dolphin plank today!
I usually stick to regular.
frozen fruit = The Best ice packs!
I love dolphin planks! I hold it for a minute once my head is even with elbows. Planks rock!
I keep a bag of peas in my freezer – for nothing other than icing my knees!
