Workout Wednesday, Get Your Sweat On!

I was pretty excited to try out Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown

I thought that the 30 day shred was worth the $10, so why not try Jillian’s yoga DVD, eh?

What I liked:

  • its a quick 30 minute workout – perfect to schedule into your day
  • The positions focus on building strength  - I could feel my weakling muscles burning
  • Its easy to follow without having to look up at the screen every 2 seconds.

What I didn’t like:

  • To me, yoga is about holding those poses – Jillian constantly keeps the movements flowing, then holds for 15 seconds. My knees pops like crazy, so its better for me to hold a chair pose and not squat it up and down
  • I wanted a little more stretching at the end, it wasn’t bad, just not long enough for my liking

Overall, I’m really glad I got this DVD. I’ve been wanting to find a good yoga workout DVD, I miss going to classes, but this definitely helps out.
