where to begin?
I adore this city. I could live here. I have about 800 pictures from my camera & 100-ish from my iPhone. the Internet is sketchy tonight so I’m blogging via iPhone. I can’t wait to show you all the awesome photos! 
couple things…
1. I love how you can walk EVERYWHERE. love, love, live that!
2. Seriously does everyone smoke in NYC?
3. Businesses know how to utilize tiny spaces. been to a tiny salad bar, tiny Starbucks, tiny whole foods even.
4. cab drivers frighten me
5. the streets are just as busy at night as they are in the day. the city that never sleeps
6. they pronounce “Houston St” as “house-ton St”. that’s funny to a girl from Houston ya know

Are you going to see a show? A few years ago I was visiting my brother and sister-in-law in DC and we went to NYC for the weekend and decided to get those last minute discount tickets to something/anything. We ended up seeing a show none of us had heard of called Brooklyn the Musical. It was one of the best musicals I had ever seen – only a 5 person amazingly talented cast and we had some great seats – like 6 rows back slightly off center for cheap!
Have you ridden the subway yet? That’s quite the experience too, my friend.
