Good Morning my sweets. How’s your day treating you so far?
Little Miss Taxi is having a good day herself…
She loves to run errands with mommy.
So, I was thinking the other day, what are ways to keep you motivated with your fitness goals?
One thing that came to mind is accountability.
I like the definition of accountability. “Willingness to accept responsibility or to account for one’s actions.” That’s good stuff people.
Often we can try to do everything on our own and never ask someone for help. But, it’s good to have someone to be accountable to when it comes to getting your fitness on. My lil’sis and hubs help keep me on track a lot of times. So how do you find said “Fitness Friends”?
Look around you. Who in your life do you trust, respect and shares the same love for fitness as you do? Ask those people to help keep you on track with goals you’ve made for yourself.
Twitter it. I’m not crazy, don’t look at me like that. All my twitter friends are nodding right now. Seriously, twitter is a great community of people, with like-minded goals. You can find them, I promise. There’s been times I’ve tweeted “I don’t want to go to the gym, someone tell me to.” and getting all these replies from people encouraging you to go AND following up with you on how your workout went, yeah, that’ll push you. You don’t want to be liar right.
So if you haven’t already, sign up for twitter and find me, I’ll help give you a nudge too.
Sign up for a group class or running group. Getting into a group class or a running group is a great way to stay connected with people who share the same interest as you and you’re more likely to stick to it, since you know they’re counting on you to be there too.
So tell me, how are ways you can stay accountable with your fitness goals?

Who’s saying what?
