Hubs and I just got back from our cruise the Monday before last,
and I was very happy to find that I didn’t gain weight, I actually lost weight.
My secret?
Didn’t over eat and I took the stairs every day. It’s definitely possible to go on a cruise and not pack on the pounds. BUT it’s very easy for it to happen too…
the thing is, there’s FOOD everywhere, and not just everywhere, there’s a pizza bar and sandwich bar open 24/7, pretty scary if you’re trying to stay away from all those extra calories. But with the right mindset and determination you can overcome the evil food temptations! And of course, keep MOVING! It also helps if you have motion sickness from the ship.
So my friends, go take a vacation and happy cruising!

My dad once gained 9 pounds on a 4-day cruise. I always scratch my head at the folks piling up four plates of food at the buffet, like the “food” thing is a new concept.
Way to go! That is quite an accomplishment on vacay!
