Weekend recap: Monster Mash Race and so much more

My Husband is a genius! He brought home his sim card reader and I not officially have photos uploaded! WOO HOO! Problem solved. In case you have no idea what I’m talking about. Go here.

So lets weekend recap it…

Saturday morning, bright and early, we’re talking 4:45AM, hubs and I head out to the Monster Mash 5K…

It was so cold! So I threw together a “costume”…

I was a “Tree Hugger”

It was so cold that morning and cold-front just came in and the air felt so thin, while running it felt like my throat was closing up. Awful. By the middle of mile 2 the random cold throat thing went away. I brought my camera with in my SPIbelt

After this huge loop we were coming up to the finish line… hubs and I were in a friendly competition to see who could beat each other… since he’s faster than I am, I was determined to win this one (he’s beat me on all the other races we’ve done together), we saw the finish line and started sprinting towards it, I was giving it all I got. and WOO HOO! I WON! I beat Hubs by ONE second. Can you believe it? So nice, so nice.

Afterward we went home, and took an hour nap before headed out to Carters Country. Hubs wanted to go…

Oh yes, we’re in Texas. (sheesh)

Hubs was skeet shooting.. and I looked like a space cadet…

That evening we went to my sister’s house for Halloween festivities…

Good times had by all.

I had this thought and posted it on twitter {because thats what you do with twitter, you randomly think and post it}… “Wondering what would it be like if I never blogged again?”  Hmm… all you bloggers, have you ever thought that?
