Austin recap – part 1

Good Morning my dears!

Austin. Oh how I love it.

Wednesday we arrived in Austin around 4:00pm, and went to the business gathering. I love hotels that give gifts…

Those mini bath-things get me every time. I’m a collector if you will.

So we headed out to the event and I’m kicking myself for not bringing my camera with me. I mean, c’mon I ALWAYS do.. I did have my iphone with me, but the lighting wasn’t too good, minus in the bathroom when I saw this awesome picture that I so need in my house…

Don’t you love it? I love.

I got a pretty sweet compliment from a girl there that was a personal stylist, she said I “had it goin’ on” and that my outfit was fabulous and looked vintage. She runs a vintage website. Sweet. I took a picture of my outfit when I got to the hotel so you could see it, pictures a bit blurry but you get the idea…

I felt pretty snazzy.

Thursday morning we woke up had a tasty little breakfast,

I had a bagel and Hubs had some toast and we set out for a run along downtown Austin’s river. TONS of walkers and runners out there, pretty crazy. I asked hubs if people in Austin worked on Thursday Mornings at 9:00am?? So many active people in Austin. It’s awesome!

After the run…

We headed back to the hotel after a 2.5 mile run {the weather was PERFECT} to pack up our stuff and then venture out to Whole Foods. THE Whole Foods. Its amazing…

Lunch was a mix of salad, greek rice, broccoli pasta, among other things… OH so good ya’ll.
