Hey ya’ll! I’m finally feeling back to my ol’ self. :) Thanks for all the well wishes, ya’ll are so sweet.

Hubs got me out of the house on Saturday….

On our way home we saw this…

a local nursery was up in flames!

Crazy!!! Of course Hubs had to stop and check out the action. So couple hours later and a ton of pictures… we left and went to Old Navy so Hubs could get some new clothes for an upcoming conference… I got these glasses…

100_5760Whatcha think? I love ‘em!

later that evening we went to dinner with my family, my Aunt was in town from Austin for my mom’s birthday {which was Sunday}…

Sunday,  hubs and I wanted to enjoy this amazing weather we were having…

100_5775I seem so pale. Sick much?

So we sat outside at an Irish Pub and had lunch. See how blue the sky is??? Perfect fall weather!

After lunch I was pretty wiped out, so we went home and I rested for a bit. It’s awful having zero energy after you’ve been sick. Ugh. But I am learning that it’s important to rest and not push yourself all, the, time.

Sunday night we went out with the family again to celebrate Mom’s birthday…

Good Times. :)

Monday morning came EARLY ya’ll. I definitely could have used another 2 hours of sleep.

So tell me, whenever you’ve been sick, when do you finally get back into your workout routine? I worry about jumping back into working out and in turn wearing myself out and getting sick again, oh dilemma.

  1. The pumpkin patch looks like fun! Monday mornings always come early.

I don’t want to jinx myself, but I rarely get sick so I don’t have to worry about the “jumping back into working out.”

  2. So glad you are feeling better. Love your family photos. Super cute sunglasses chica. We need to go shopping together. I bet we’d have a blast!

  3. I don’t even want to answer your question, because I’ll jinx myself. Oh, what the heck. I’ll run with a cold, although I get maybe one per year. Actually, I ran a marathon in the rain and wind with bronchitis once. I haven’t had the flu since I’ve been running, so I don’t know how I’d bounce back from that. With my luck, I’ll let you know next week now that I said that.

Glad you’re back in the swing of things!

  4. How is it you guys ALWAYS find the fires! : )
