So I told you the other day my sister and I went garage sale shopping and I found this baker’s rack for $30.00

I really liked it, but I didn’t like the color and it looked a little beat up on the wooden part.
My amazing sister knew just what to do…
She used her sander and smoothed out the top of the wooded part…

and then we spray painted it an express color…

however two cans weren’t enough, so I headed back to Lowes…
and took a picture of myself, because the sun roof was open and I was enjoying the amazing weather

Got what I needed and headed back to our project.
3 cans barely finished the job since there was SO many small areas of the baker’s rack.
And this was the finished project:

Whatcha think!?
I’m so in love with it! Hubs thought it looked amazing too, he said and I quote “Garage Sales are the way to go!” Looks like I’ll be going to more garage sales with my sister.

Oh my word! Clap, clap, clap!

Do I lose my Man Card for saying that I think you did a pretty nice job on that?
So pretty. Amazing what you can do with a little work and a can of paint.
What a great find! You guys did an awesome job painting it. It looks great.
great find and great job on the refinishing!! baker racks are expensive, so that was definitely a grea deal!
amazing what you can add to your home with little money and a little bit of elbow grease!
Your sis is awesome (just like you) and those dishes are beautiful. I can’t have that in my house at the moment . The baby would find a way to destroy it.
WOW! Great job!
