What’s in your Fridge?

Anyone catch The Biggest Loser last night? Can you believe the contestants were banned from their kitchen? They only were allowed to eat out the whole week? Have you ever gone a whole week eating out? I know I have before, I hate it. You can’t control what’s going into your food when you eat out. When you cook at home, you have control.

I enjoy grocery shopping. Some people may think its a pain, but I enjoy it. Even better, I love stocking my kitchen full of healthy items and keeping it organized!

Shopper tip: Check out the sale rack on cereal, if the box corners are damaged normally the store discounts them, score!

and for those wondering, I did buy fruit, apples, oranges, grapes, etc. I just forgot to take a picture, whoops!

So tell me, what’s in your fridge? Do you like grocery shopping?

And p.s. 10 for Texas is Saturday, yeah that means 4 days away. Prayers are appreciated. {hehe}

and p.p.s or is it p.s.s??? Anyway! head over to We Are That Family for Works for me Wednesday for more good tips. :)

Weekend recap: 8 Miles & David Crowder Band

So my updates comes to you a little late {due to technical difficulties…} but everythings back to good, so lets get to it!

Saturday morning lil’ sis and I met up for our 8 mile run. {holy 8 miles batman!!} Let me just say, the weather was absolutely amazing! Perfect fall weather.

IMG_0574This was mile 3

The rest of the miles were good till the last few… my toes felt like they had blisters on every single toe. And sure enough I had a killer one on my big toe. Ew, I know. I took a picture, but I don’t think I want to gross you out that bad. haha

After the run I had some sports beans, since I forgot to bring them with me…

I tried the assorted pack..

I wasn’t sure if I’d like the assorted pack, since I normally like to stick to one flavor. But these complimented each other nicely. Definitely helped since I was starving and needed something fast to hold me over.

Even though the weather was nice and cool, I was HOT. Down the water and tried some coconut water…

and I’m still not impressed. I don’t have if coconut water is for me. Have another brand to try next time. Not for 10 for Texas run though, I don’t want to try anything new that day. :) Just keep it same and simple.

After lunch, I had a really bad headache and felt sick to my stomach. I decided to lay down and take a nap to sleep this awful feeling off. Blah.

After the nap I felt much better, needed more h2O but otherwise better.

Saturday evening, Hubs and I went to dinner with my sister and brother-in-law…

Such a fun night!!

Sunday, after hubs and I went to church, Hubs took a nap and I fought with iphoto for a while {sigh} then I met up with the sisters for movie date! I love sister time! We went and saw Fame. I’d give it a 3 out of 5 stars. :)

I love my sisters!! :)

I had a cute picture to post, but the fight with iPhoto has started again :|

So Monday showed up and was such a blur, what a busy day. I blinked it and it was over. That evening lil’ sis and I ran 3 miles and are getting super excited for Saturday. Can you  believe 10 for Texas is almost here?? CRAZY!!

So tell me, what did you do this weekend?
