“Do you smell that?”

Remember how I said being an adult is hard?? Well…

7:00pm last night, I come home from the grocery store…

Hubs was at church for a meeting…

I open the garage and go into the house thinking…

it smells like gas in here.

uh oh.

Checked the burners on the stove, everything was shut off.

Called my neighbor over {Hi neighbor!} to smell my house {I laugh everytime I say that}

She confirmed with me. The House smelled like gas.

and then the fun started…

craziness I tell you. But we laughed through most of it. ;)

After Mr. Centerpoint man finished his investigation, we found out that the leak came from the hot water heater, which now has to be replaced and there’s a possibility of mold in the attic. {wee!}

OH! And the random couple that was outside fighting ended up taking off by the time the police officer showed up {Hi Bryan!} so nothing exciting happened with that…
but definitely was an eventful night needless to say.

Since I got to bed about midnight-ish and woke up at 6ish, I’ve been tired as all get out today. Hubs and I were going to go to spin class tonight, but that had a detour due to lost keys… yeah lets just not get into that. Just glad I had the spare and keys can be replaced. :) So now I’m off to lay in bed and make my spinning head quiet down so I can relax…

Anyone else have an eventful past couple days?.. anyone?… anyone?.. Bueller?

Weekend recap: Shop, Run, Giveaway!

Hello Monday! Hope your weekend was wonderful! Here are a few highlights of mine…

Hubs and I went to Hubble & Hudson on Friday afternoon…

I got me a little treat…

Tasty yogurt covered pretzels.. I wanted almonds, but they didn’t have any. I was nice and shared with Hubs, and we saved the rest for another time. :)

Saturday Morning my lil’ sis and I went running at Burroughs Park, there was this great breeze and it felt amazing out!….

Then we can home and made such a good lunch! I made some homemade hummus with garbanzo beans and we had veggie wraps and veggies to dip in the hummer. Love me some hummus!…

So good! Later that day, Lil’ sis and I did some errands and I found out that Wal*Mart {the store that stresses me out} now carries Oikos!!

They even had Strawberry & Blueberry, which I’ve never seen before. :) oh its the little things in life.

Saturday evening Hubs and I had rented “Yes Man!” so we watch that, anyone else seen it? It’s interesting, had some funny parts, but definitely interesting.

Sunday, after church, Hubs and I came up his office so he could get some work done and I could play on an iMac!! :D Good stuff.

Lil’ sis and I are getting pumped for the 10 for Texas and looking forward to the cooler weather then too. We’re trying to figure out what to put on our t-shirts we’re going to make… any suggestions? :)

Well, we WERE gonna go to the track, but crazy stuff happened… which is another blog post in its self… lets put it this way, gas leak in the house, possible mold in attack, and the water heater has to be replaced. Omg… SO anyway…

I’m totally loving all the comments on the Lift Your Sole Giveaway. There’s jewerly pieces that I discovered because YOU told me about them. Just love their stuff. Is it wrong that I secretly wish I could win my own giveaway? Have you entered? Did you comment? Become their fan on Facebook? Did you become my fan? Oh wait, I don’t have one of those pages… ha! ;)

So this weeks “deals” are non-existant. There was just not much on sale out there, or that was even cute enough to share, so I bring to more randomness… maybe even more random then yesterdays post, you can be the judge of that…

Tomorrow’s plan is get up early go for a run with my lil’ sis, then head to Wholyfit at 9:30 am. While my honey attacks the yard, thats a workout I think!!! Hot, humid and mowing the lawn? That’s tough!

Being an adult is a lot of hard work.

Sometimes I feel like there’s never enough time in the day, and then other times I wish the day would just fly by. How quacked out is that?

I wish starbucks delivered.

…and I had my own barista, named Cheri who spoke in a french accent {how fun :) }

I’m ridiculously excited about my upcoming Birthday this September.

I want to go travel to Europe again, soon.

I wish there was a Friday 1:30pm Wholyfit class.

My husband is the sweetest man on this earth.

I’ve never been to New York and hope to go next October.

I’m pretty convinced if everyone exercised and ate healthy, there’d be a lot more happy people in this world.

For an hour straight after Monday’s Spin class I heard the German instructors voice saying “Just go, don’t stop. Run.” over and over and over…

My little nephew is going to be 1 yr old this September. He’s adorable.

Still haven’t mastered or even succeeded at being a morning person.

Green Tea is a addiction I’ll never give up.

So is running.
