Building things that involve hammers, nails, screws and anything of the liking isn’t really a gifting I have.
But I had to have it…
And I wanted it “built” now…
I went to Target, picked up this sucker…
{on Sale might I add}
and I wanted to surprise hubs with my fab-o find and have it all ready.
So I grabbed MY tools
{Thanks MomGiles! This was Bridal Shower gift}
After going through the most confusing thing ever instructions and making sure I had each.and.every.piece. {sheesh}

Ya know, this would have been SUP-AH easy… if I wouldn’t have drilled boards in backwards and things like that… lots of drilling, undrilling {is that a word?} and reassembling this thing.
AFTER quite some time {the actual minutes will not be spoken} and telling my self “don’t give-up” over and over again, I now have a beautiful cabinet!
and I approve…
{pay no mind to the wicked messed up hair and exhausted face…}
I put this cabinet in our master bathroom, there was an empty space that just needed “something.
Turned out pretty cute! Hubs loved it.
After my afternoon of crafting together a master piece {er… something like that}…
hubs and I went for a walk/run around the trail by our house. The wind is INSANE here right now. It almost made me want to go back home, because it was so strong, hurts my ears. The thought of quitting definitely sounded good… But we toughed it out, and I’m glad we did, the walk then run then walk then run really gave me some energy and I felt refreshed too.
So tell me, have you ever been working on some project of any sort or getting your fitness on and the haunting phrase “I want to quit” keeps trying to jump out your mouth. What do you do? How do you push passed the “I give up” moment that comes? Tell me your story.

hah! love the thumbs up on a job well done! when i’m about to give up on something, i just think of who it’s going to benefit, and that gives me the extra push.
haha thanks Cher. thats good, thinking of the benefits definitely is a great push
Wow so when the babies come you can make all their furniture too!
oh cory….
