The Weekend is HERE!
We’ve got a pretty packed scheduled {like always} for this weekend. We’ve got to make sure we get our fitness on too!
We’re having a Garage Sale on Saturday {wish us luck!} and Sunday there’s church and then we’re taking Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace classes. They’re really good. I’ll talk more about that on Monday.
So tell me, what are your plans this weekend? If nothing, make sure you get out and have some FUN! You deserve it!

Just had a great celebration with friends last night for two of our friend’s bdays. Today, just housework and heading to the gym, and then tomorrow, family dinner and movies!
Hmmm….. what’s planned for the weekend….
Today is going to be spent on the website, hopefully landing a sweet 16 job, and cleaning up the road bikes. Also have to call a couple of printing places to see how big I can get something printed.
The big weekend adventure though is that I’m going to try to use the crockpot by myself without a crockpot pre-packaged food. [What I mean by that is the big box/bag of something that labeled 'this is for you to put in your crockpot', and it has instructions on it that says, stick this element in your crockpot, cook for this long, then stick this other element into the crockpot and cook for this long]
Since I’ve been such a ‘wild woman’ these past couple of weekends I’ll be staying close to home. Plus I’ve got some crazy weekends lined up for the next three weeks.
That’s great Cher, are you liking your new gym? I love movies on the weekends.
Jen, I gotta know the outcome of the crockpot cooking.
Hope it turns out fantastic!
Saw your comment on We are THAT Family. Congrats to you on getting started with FPU. We finished FPU about a year ago, and are doing pretty well. We are still on Baby Step 2, but found the most important thing for us was just getting the Nerd to do the bookkeeping. Now I am SO glad to have handed off that role (I am a Free Spirit with control issues)! My husband and I often wish we’d heard about Dave Ramsey when we were newlyweds (we have been married almost 11 years now). Best of luck!
