Run like a crazy person – It’s good for you.

The Thanksgiving Holiday is rapidly approaching, and so our the high calories that day brings… So along with my need/want to be fit and healthy. I’m making sure I don’t pile on the calories, carbs, sugars or fats. But I wanted to know a good way to keep my metoblism up. Simple asnwer: Work out before the Thanksgiving Fest. Cool. I can do that!

One of my favorite blogs I read is “See Bride Run“, Caitlyn has spelled it out pretty simple today in her post: Click Here.

One of the tips she says:

  • Exercise the morning of “big meal” holidays.  Obviously, you’re not going to be able to burn off ALL the calories you will eat at Thanksgiving, but a morning run or elliptical session will make you feel more *in control* during the meal (i.e. working out on a holiday is more for your mental sanity than anything else).
  • and this… this is how running should be:

    Best show EVER.

Anyone else plan on working out before the fest of the year? :)

    Fireproof

    Oh Saturday, Rodney and I went to see a movie out in theaters: ”Fireproof” - I highly recommend this for anyone. It was so, so, so good. {Yes it deserves three “so’s”}

I won’t give away any details from the movie, but there’s a book that was featured in the movie, Rodney and I really wanted to get it. It’s called “The Love Dare”

Rodney nor I ever have enough time in the day to get through a book, the great thing about this book, its around a 1-2 page read a day. Oh yeah, we can do that! And since I didn’t know much about the book either, I dont want to give too many details away, but you’ll be glad you check into it.

    I dare ya ;)

    He is Thankful for…

I asked my sweet Future Husband to name 5 things that he’s Thankful for, here’s what he replied:

    1. For what Jesus has done in my life!
    2. For my Fiancé Lauren
    3. For my Family
    4. For my Health
    5. For stability in life

As the Thanksgiving Holiday approaches, have you thought of what you’re Thankful for?

Sur La Table, how I love thee…

Ah… completed. The final place we were going to register at is DONE! I love this place and Rodney got wild with the scanner, so I may have to go online and figure out everyone he added to the registry. :)
So fun though. Some people haven’t heard of Sur La Table before, it’s a lot like Williams Sonoma, but ten times better I think. It’s fabulous kitchen jazz at its finest. There’s so many fun things about this place I can stay in there for hours! Makes me want to cook and bake something very yummy.

Take a look at the website and tell me what you think? Also we’ve found that the name “Table” part is pronounced “tob”. It’s French, Voila!
