So I did it. I attempted Polenta. <- click here to see my previous post about it.
I decided to cook it one night after a workout and um… well… ok I don’t know what the heck I’m doing.
It wasn’t terrible, it wasn’t fantastic, it just… was.
I would describe the texture something close to grits, or at least what I think grits texture is like. Hmm… maybe I should take some cooking classes?
Is there any food item you’ve ever attempted and thought to yourself.. “What was I thinking?”












Tamales!! I watched my aunt make them, took measurements, pictures, got as much first hand experience as possible — I wrote EVERYTHING down, and they still came out sooo gross when I tried it by myself. That was definitely too big for me.
Ya know those cookies I make actually were awful the first few times around, which was devastating because the dough takes soooo long to prepare. Eventually I tweaked up the recipe a bit, and after a few trials and errors, [more than my bank account likes to remember, haha] I have the recipe I like now. Dont worry, next time will be better.
And if not, then the time after that?
umm everyhing i make…wait…is that the stuff they stuff celery sticks with? that stuff is weird…it’s orange. something about it being orange makes me wonder…
