Hello Autumn

Autumn is such a pleasant time of year. Crisp cool mornings, beautiful days and pretty afternoons… That’s what’s going on in the world right now.. well… for almost all of us. Not so much us Houston, Texans. Bummer.

BUT!! This morning, I wake up, still coughy-and-sniffled.. but the morning was glorious. Bright, cool-crisp, it felt like Fall was finally here. I loved the morning drive, surprising huh??? Normally driving into work if full of horn-honking and arms-waving in the air. Oh no my friend, not this morning… it was quiet, calm and reflective. The sun smiled this morning… people seemed peaceful. It was wonderful! Dear Lord, please let this weather stay! I’d be a MUCH nicer driver. :)

Happy Autumn my friends!

October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came -
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.
