We’re Famous!
My Big {Fat} Family
Have you ever seen “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”? If not, you should. It’s hilarious! We’re a big honkin’ family! I don’t mean like huge people… just A LOT of us… and as you can see from the recent posts, more babies continue to be born and Family grows more! It’s exactly how I
describe my family, we’re crazy, chaotic, spazztic, we can get on each other nerves, we’re loud, there’s a TON of us, we’re silly and ALWAYS have awesome parties and have the best time together. We have this flow in our family, we “get” each other and we just go with the flow…
Then comes Rodney…I was worried at first that Rodney would think my crazy random family might scare him, or he wouldn’t know how to act… gone are those thoughts and concerns. Rodney fits in perfectly and flows quite beautiful in this big orchestra called family. Someone once described us as an orchestra… each person plays a part, and when all the pretty notes join together in harmony it places a gorgeous song… sometimes fast and wacky, some times slow and peaceful.. either way, when each instrument is played at it’s best. It’s perfect. Rodney hits nicely in our nutso-ness (its a word, I swear) called “Family”.
I love knowing that soon, Rodney and I will be married and his family will become even more apart of my family too. I love watching the “Joining of two Families” (have you ever heard that phrase?), it’s a beautiful thing. I just hope his family can handle my families… big, fat, craziness!!
The Parking Lot Pt. 2
The traffic wasn’t that bad! I made it home in about under an hour. Not to shabby… the worst part of the travel home, was the line/wait at Starbucks
Ya know, I had to get my Green Tea to get through all this chaos.
I want to hear from you… If you’re in the middle of all this craziness, are you “Hunkering down” like we are? Tell me your story!
It’s a Parking Lot
This is my way home… do you see this? Do you see what I’m about to enter into. Craziness I tell you. I live North, everyone wants to head North away from my storm… this should be interesting. I’ll be sure to bring snacks with me in case I get hungry in my 2 hour + drive home, that normally takes 30-45 minutes. Wee!!!
Wish me luck!!!
Big Love,
La
