Say CHEESE!!!

One of my favorite beyond favorite shows is “Friends”, ever seen it? I’m sure you have, it’s the best show ever!! :)

One of the episodes is where Monica and Chandler get their engagement pictures taken… Chandler isn’t as…well… photogenic as Monica is… it’s priceless, take a look:

 

It makes me laugh everytime!!!

So after seeing the “Chandler look” above, I’ve decided even more so now to teach my adorable groom-to-be how to “pose” and work the camera… haha

We should be taking engagment pictures within the next month, so I’ll be sure to post all those pretty ones… and maybe not so pretty pictures. haha!

First Day of School…

Today is my little Niece’s first day of Kindergarten! Yeaa

Doesn’t she look all big and grown up??? *sniff-sniff*

She did so good my sister told me, they dropped her off to school and she walked in all big and proud, no tears (well, mom and dad held them back).

Have you ever heard of GetMarried.com?

Neither had I, until a week or two ago I really just stumbled on it from someone elses page, blog, link, something. Somehow I found this awesome website. You can add your blog on there with “Blogger Brides“. So me being the blog obsessed woman that I’ve become… I did!! I read about tons of other brides adventure in wedding planning and find tons and tons of inspiration.

Well last week, roughly Tuesday I believe it was… I get an email from Sherrard Photography, just simply an add stating who they are and linking to their website… of course I was interested, LONG story short. They are amazing photographers here in Houston and they found me off of the Blogger Brides (Get Married site) WOO HOO!

Rodney and I just loved them and their style and LOVED that the song on their website is…well…Our song… ;) awww

So THANK YOU Get Married, you helped us find our photgraphers!!

DIY:: Cake Card Box

So I have yet to blog about all my random Do-It-Yourself ideas and plans I have… why? I dont know, maybe because I have so many rolling around in my head, that getting them on paper hasn’t happened yet.

One project that I’ve started hunting for is making a Cake Card (holding) box, exbihit A:

 

But ya’ll know me… it can’t be just plain ol’ white… it’s gotta be DAMASK and AMAZING :)

I went to Hobby Lobby (LOVE that store) and got a hat box (damask of course… and 50% off… must be on sale!) but of course, they only had ONE left… so I went ahead and got it… My goal is to either find one just like it, or a soild black…

So if anyone of you find another hobby lobby with the damask, black and white round hat boxes, Email me stat! @ [email protected] or [email protected] :) because I’m on a mission to get this project done.

I would love for the final look to turn out to be something like this:

Now who wouldnt want to put a card into something lovely like that??? I sit and smile… isn’t it just gorgeous?
