La’s Pick of the Week:

When Rodney and I first got engaged, after all the excitement had finally set in and Rod look’s at me and says “Ok get to planning.” I knew I needed to figure out what happens next??

So we went out and got this book:

I honestly do recommend this to anyone planning a wedding, because if you’re like me and LOVE to make a list and check it off, then this is the book for you.

If you already have this book, tell me what you liked about it. I’d love to know! :)

Wake Up!!

I’ve really been wanting to get into the habit of getting up earlier and getting my work-out in for the day. Instead ofafternoon workouts where I’m really starving and eyeing the clock thinking “what’s for dinner?”

I was looking around Team Sugar’s site and found this… this hilarious-you’ve-got-to-be-kidding alarm clock:

It’s from World Wide Fred

It’s simple, just set the alarm and in the morning it will buzz until you’ve done 30 reps… 30 reps?? while half asleep?

Think it’ll work?? Hmm… Your thoughts? :)

What to choose, what to choose??

Here’s a question to all you wedding savvy, really smart creative people out there in the blogging world…

What’s a good idea for the Farewell Toss? Is that even what you call it? Maybe my “term” isn’t correct, but you know what I mean? When the Bride and Groom are leaving, what do you toss?

Confetti?

Blow bubbles?

Wedding Rice?

Lite Sparklers?

Really, what do you choose? And yes, I am thinking of every little detail all ready. :)

But I want a good idea and if you have stories you’ve experienced or someone else has on what to use, what NOT to use. That would be great!!!
Big love,
Lauren

Found THE Dress

I’m so very excited about the Wedding Gown I’ve found… I’d love beyond love to post pictures of it for you. But my Fiance’ is always online (hey it’s what he does), so I know he’d see it and we want the surprise factor when he first see’s me when the doors to the church open… :) Ya’ll better be looking at his face, I can’t wait to see the expression!!

I’m so thrilled about the dress, it’s a Mori Lee

And that’s all I can tell you.

I got it at this sweet Bridal Boutique in Old Town Spring here in town. So helpful, so kind, really loved it!

I can’t wait for you to see the dress and in 179 days, you’ll get to!! :)
